Well It’s crazy to think the Jays season is almost at the one third point and I have been busy creating some new artwork along the way. Be sure to check out my Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/ChrisRipleyArt for my latest works in progress. It’s been a very busy month or so with us welcoming our baby boy into our family, but we are settling into a new routine now and I should be able to start spending more time in the studio again. Here are a few of my recently completed projects. Thanks again for all your support.
The Blue Jays had a great Opening Day win to start off their season. This year for my Jays Care Fundraiser I will be creating a drawing for each game they win during season. Stay tuned as I will start capturing moments right away, the first drawing will feature Marcus Stroman who had a spectacular start to lead the Jays to their victory. Thanks again for your all support and with your help I hope to reach my $5000 fundraiser goal this season.
It was another busy week finishing up these two Donaldson commissioned paintings. I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out, and now they are headed, with the clients, to spring training for some signatures! Prints are now available so feel free to CONTACT me if you are interested. I also got started on a Kobe painting and made some good progress on my Masters artwork. I’ll post some more progress pictures of those paintings soon.
It is always an exciting time when spring training rolls around and after last season it is even more exciting than ever. The Jays team that captured the hearts of all of us Canadians is back to take another run at the title, and I for one can’t wait to see them starting the ride. That being said it has been a very busy few weeks in the studio. Here are some of the projects that I have completed and are currently working on. I’m really looking forward to finishing all of these up and then moving onto some other new projects.
Thanks for all you support,

Thanks for your support! Cheers, Chris.
Well it has been a very busy few weeks in my studio. I only have two drawings left to finish tonight and then I will be ordering my poster prints. They will be a standard poster size, 24×36″, so they will fit into standard poster frames. They are a signed and numbered, limited edition of 100, and are $125 plus shipping (usually $15-25). Be sure to CONTACT me if you are interested as they will go fast. Here is a quick image of what they will look like.
Well the holiday season is upon us and my studio is really heating up! Here are some of my latest projects. There are only a few weeks left to order prints in time for Christmas so be sure to CONTACT me soon if you are interested. Thanks for visiting!
It has been awhile since the postseason ended for the Jays, so I have had time to reflect… It was an amazing run, but It felt like it wasn’t supposed to end… I am still a little bitter about the horrible strike calls that dramatically changed the 9th inning for the Jays, but at that point were already 0-9 with runners in scoring position, so in the end the Royal executed better and deserved. It was absolutely incredible how much the whole country got behind the team, and I really hope they keep it going next year, I would love to see what this lineup could do for a whole season! Now I’m busy working on lots of new art, there are so many moments I’m excited to capture throughout the off season. Christmas is just around the corner, CONTACT me if you are interested in prints or originals. Here is some of my latest artwork.
